Super Hero Dash 2015

Super Hero Dash 2015 Mike Mcmahan And FamilyOn Sunday, Aug. 9 over 200 people showed up for the 3rd annual St. Francis Super Hero Dash. The mud/obstacle course consisted of a timed 3K adult race, a kids race, superhero costume contest, food and refreshments.

Volunteering in the community is an important part of the St Francis culture. Mission Matters helps employees get involved in their communities through volunteering. The program also determines where Allina Health charitable contributions are made. After employees log 20 volunteer hours with a qualifying organization on, a $100 Dollars for Doers contribution is made to the nonprofit organization of their choice. If at least five employees participate in a charity walk, run or ride, Allina Health contributes $250 to the event's benefiting organization. Dollars increase with participation, up to $5,000. Allina also offers employees and affiliated physicians $1,000 Global Funds to support volunteerism throughout the world.

Neighborhood Health Connection

Neighborhood Health Connection improves the health of communities through social connections, healthy eating and physical activity through Healthy Activity Grants to individuals, families, and community groups.

Health Powered Kids

This program provides schools and families fun, easy-to-use information about health and wellness. And, it empowers children and teens to make healthy choices about what to eat, how to stay active and manage stress.

Change to Chill

Change to Chill is a free online resource for teens to help them get perspective on things that matter, achieve balance and stress less.  It allows teens to watch, listen and learn about stress and its triggers, meditation, ways to focus and easy ways to chill and recharge.
