  • Bariatric services eligibilityTo ensure your safety and well-being, we follow strict medical guidelines by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) to determine eligibility for bariatric surgery. These guidelines consider body mass index (BMI) and the presence of weight-related health conditions.

If you have a BMI of 40 or higher, you may qualify for surgery. You may also qualify if you have a BMI of 35 or higher and a chronic health condition like sleep apnea, osteoarthritis or GERD, among others.
