Leadership
Amy Jerdee is the president of St. Francis Regional Medical Center, holding this position since June 2019. Jerdee is committed to ensuring that St. Francis provides high-quality, patient-focused, safe care to patients in the southwest metropolitan area of the Twin Cities. Prior to joining St. Francis, she worked at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she was responsible for leading multiple areas, including surgical services, diagnostics and radiation oncology, rehabilitation/sports medicine, and pharmacy services. Jerdee earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Michigan State University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School and a master's in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and certified in Healthcare Risk Management. Jerdee is also a member of the University of Minnesota Health Services Management Advisory Board and a member of the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Healthcare Risk Management. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Johnson is passionate about patients and providing them with the safest and highest quality of care available. Great doctors like to work with other great doctors, and Dr. Johnson believes this is certainly the culture reflected at St. Francis. In his leadership role, he works with strategic initiatives, the quality and safety department, and the hospital's medical staff. In addition, he serves as the Allina Utilization Management Medical Director. Dr. Johnson also provides patient care at St. Francis Jordan Clinic. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his family medicine residency at Methodist Hospital. With more than 23 years of medical experience, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Physician Advisors. Monte enjoys wake surfing, fishing and skiing. He and his family live in the southwest metropolitan area.
Sally Haack joined St. Francis in June 2018. Prior to that, she worked at Fairview Health Services, supporting Fairview Ridges, Fairview Southdale and Bethesda Hospitals as a human resources strategist. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Dordt College and lives in Savage with her family. Haack is responsible for leading St. Francis' human resources efforts—including employee engagement, hiring and retention, and labor union relations. She's a people person and says, "Human Resources in the healthcare field is about equipping staff to provide the best care experience for patients and their families—and I am honored to have a role in that."
Laura Randgaard, RN, MA, CNML, joined St. Francis in 2022 as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer, overseeing several areas including the medical-surgical unit, special care unit, Family Birth Place, emergency and urgent care, surgery, Cancer Center, nursing education and the staffing office. With more than twenty years of nursing experience, her background includes roles in clinical care of premature infants and their families, nursing leadership, organizational improvement, and clinical informatics throughout metro Minnesota health systems. Laura has a passion for professional development and improving the safety of our care environment. Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Portland and her master’s degree in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University, and is certified as a Prosci Change Practitioner. She is also a member of Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing and the American Nurses Association.
Angela Gutzmer joined St. Francis Regional Medical Center in 2006 and was promoted to lead finance executive in June 2022. Angela began her health care career in accounting and finance at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center in Arizona after graduating from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and accounting. She has spent her entire career in health care, including at Regional Care Services (Casa Grande, Arizona); North Iowa Mercy Health Center (Belmond, Iowa); Allina Health (St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Allina Regional Health Services, Allina Hospice & Palliative Care).
Angela is a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Michael Morris feels fortunate to be part of an organization located in a growing market where every single employee is passionate about helping provide excellent patient care. In his role as director of business development, marketing and the Saints Foundation, Morris leads the hospital's strategy and business development, marketing and communications, community outreach, public relations, guest services, and employee wellness, as well as the hospital’s philanthropic efforts through the Saints Foundation. He brings more than 16 years of experience in strategy and business development to the hospital. Morris earned a bachelor's degree in health promotion from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Iowa. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Marketing Association, Shakopee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Minnesota Chamber Health Policy Committee. When not working, Morris can be found running, swimming, traveling and spending time with his family.
Kanitta Rentfrow began her role as director of operations in 2020, after previously serving as director of surgical services and materials management at St. Francis. Rentfrow oversees surgical services, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, sleep center, cardiac rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging and environmental services, and advises on materials management, nutrition services and the hospital's laboratory. Prior to joining St. Francis, Rentfrow worked at various healthcare organizations in the Twin Cities and Chicago area, and she has more than 20 years of leadership experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Catherine University, and an MBA with a healthcare focus from the University of St. Thomas. She is a certified in executive nursing practice and public health. She is active in her community as a community board member of the River Valley YMCA, a volunteer coordinator for Fare for All (a program of the food group), a member of The Academies of Shakopee Steering Committee and a volunteer member of the Saints Foundation. Rentfrow lives in Burnsville with her husband, daughter, two dogs and four chickens. She and her family enjoy cooking and attending local theatre. Rentfrow loves the community feeling of St. Francis and feeling like we are a family taking care of each other.
