Social Services
Social workers at St. Francis Regional Medical Center are available to assist patients and their families with medical and social issues related to both hospitalization and continuity of care.
A social worker can provide information and referrals to resources such as adult day care services, assisted living facilities, chemical dependency services, community agencies, county human services, financial concerns, home health care, hospice, Lifeline, Meals on Wheels, medical equipment and supplies, nursing homes and subacute services, psychological services, rehabilitation, senior housing and transportation services.
