Cardiology
Minneapolis Heart Institute (MHI) offers comprehensive cardiovascular services to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Services include: invasive and non-invasive diagnostic testing, interventional and surgical treatment, education, community outreach and preventive cardiology.
The St. Francis Cardiac Rehab team works with people who have had a myocardial infarction (heart attack), angina pectoris (chest pain), coronary artery bypass surgery, valve replacement, coronary angioplasty or coronary artery disease. Each individual’s risk factors are assessed to develop a personal prevention plan and patients learn how to exercise for their heart.
