Johnny Bench, Hall of Fame Catcher & Ceramic Hip Recipient, and St. Francis Regional Medical Center Orthopedic Specialists presented a seminar on NEW TREATMENTS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR ORTHOPEDICS. Bench, perhaps the greatest catcher in baseball history, had hip replacement surgery in 2004. Johnny Bench met with patients who recently underwent joint replacement surgery at St. Francis. The event supported St. Francis' commitment to orthopedic care and the new St. Francis Orthopedic & Neuroscience Center scheduled to open in November 2007.
